Henry Haiti - a modern cannibalPublished on 02.13.2017
Henri Haiti, a 31-year-old resident of the island Nuku Hiva (French Polynesia), who in October 17, 2011 ate German yachtsman Stefan Ramin.
He was an attendant of the German traveler who wished to make a walking tour inland. Henry and Stefan went to the mountains, but to the camp, where the yachtsman was waited for by his wife, returned only the attendant.
Later, Stefan’s picked remains were found in the damped fire, where he was cooked, and Henry Haiti escaped.
The body of the cannibal is decorated with traditional for that region ornamental tattoo that looks like the picture of rower on the boat.
Who knows, maybe this is the image that means that its owner does not mind to the taste of human flesh.
Although, it is a well-known fact that traditional tribal tattoos are not a direct analogue to prison tattoos that tell about the life story of the owner and why they were inked and what are their meaning. For the most part, these tattoos are just a kind of decoration of the body, nothing more.
November 28 of the same year, the criminal voluntarily gave up the authorities. It turned out that the unemployed 31-year-old man was previously convicted of burglary, but he did not commit more serious crimes before. Welcome to the island of Nuku Hiva!
